I live in an apartment, and I can't hear anything when I wear these wax earplugs (upstairs neighbor is a stomper and does laundry at 3 am; we also live next to busy roads). It's so amazing! Haven't had an experience with bass though. Also, these are soft enough that they don't hurt when you sleep on your side. They stay in most nights. When they do fall out, they only slightly dislodge (and stay in the ear area versus falling out completely). Very very happy I found these. All the foam ones were hurting my ears for the rest of the following days.

An excellent breakdown of how Quies can help! The only part of this review I might quibble with is that a neighbor stomping around upstairs probably does qualify as bass. Ear plugs are certainly a boon for easing the noise problems that come with apartment living - and few hearing protectors can do it as comfortably as Quies Boules.
Quies Boules are made of a luxurious combination of natural wax and cotton, blended for softness, noise blocking properties, and, above all, comfort.
